Show of hands… who saves Christmas shopping until the very last minute? 🙋🏽♀️
Well, hopefully we can save you a little bit of headache if you have a traveler on your list! Whether it’s a tech savy traveler that might be looking for a new gadget, a difficult guy or gal that seems to have everything they need, or maybe a kiddo that’s gearing up for their first flight! We have some suggestions based off personal preferences, or things that are on our list! Scroll through, and happy shopping!
Gifts for Her
Women’s Jumpsuit- I love looking casually put together when I travel (is that a thing?). I’m always looking for outfits that keep me comfortable on a long flight, but fashionable when I land in my destination. This jumpsuit totally hits the mark. Pair it with a cozy oversized cardigan that you can wear with other outfits in your suitcase, and you’ve got a great piece!
Red Aspen Nails - I LOVE these nails. As a busy mom-preneur and ranch wife, I don’t have time to run to town and get my nails done, but I love looking put together on vacation. These have been a staple for me the last 2 years of travel. They are durable, have cute designs, don’t damage your nails, and are incredibly easy to put on. Plus, they LOOK like I get my nails done. In fact, someone recently told me they thought I got my nails done all of the time!
Kindle - I’m a reader, but I only have time when I’m on vacation. If the person you’re shopping for loves books, but maybe doesn’t wanna take a bunch of space up in their luggage, this is the perfect gift.
Foldable Jewelry Roll- Keep your jewelry organized on the go. This one is on my radar! I love how compact it is.
Women’s Briefcase - Another item on my personal list. I love that water bottle holder in the inside - keeping this a classic and professional piece.
Athletic Sweatpants- Just a cute and casual pant that I think deserves a space in your closet.
Laptop Sleeve - I have this set for my MacBook and love it. The matching mini sleeve is perfect for my chargers, air pods, and other cords and accessories I need on the go.
Gift for the Tech Lover
Apple Air Pods- Who doesn’t love a good wireless earbud when they are traveling? I can't imagine FaceTiming my kids back home without something like these to keep the loud airport noise down.
Charger Adapter - Ever since the new C charger, it seems I never have the right cords to charge my devices. This would be a great solution to that problem.
Gimbal - This is perfect for the videographer in your group. It keeps your phone stable on the go and helps create beautiful content.
Tech Organizer - Do you have a different charger for your phone, iPad, tablet, kindle, AirPods, laptop, etc? And don’t forget you need headphones for the plane! Keep everything in one spot with an organizer.
Portable Charger - A “must have” for every device users bag.
Bluetooth Adapter - I can’t tell you how many times I’ve boarded a plane and realized I forgot headphone that I can plug into the seat to watch a movie. Click this link for your solution!
Gifts for the Light Packer (her)
Packing Cubes - I was recently gifted this set and I’m obsessed. Roll your clothes, pack them in, and then zip it down to compress it even further. These guys are a lifesaver when packing light.
Mini Mascara - My biggest secret to packing in a carry-on for long trips is utilizing every centimeter of my luggage and bringing travel sized toiletries. You probably have a mascara you already love - see if it comes in a mini size! Perfect stocking stuffer!
Subtle Makeup- I’ve been using these for a few years now. If you don’t need a pile of makeup, this is a perfect addition to your bag. I love being able to take this little pack out of my bag at the tail end of a long flight to freshen up before exploring a new city!
Supergroop Tinted Moisturizer - Don’t forget that SPF! Perfect for your beach bag, or just a base layer before you start your day.
Foldie - I love this carry-on bag. It has saved me on more than one occasion when I needed just a liiiiiittle extra room to avoid checking a bag. And the best part is, you can unzip it and make it even bigger for the way home if you pick up a few things along the way!
Travel Toiletry Containers - TSA approved! If you NEED a specific kind of shampoo or conditioner on vacation, or can’t live without your special face serum but don’t need to take all 12 oz… put enough for your trip in one of these little babies. My husband even steals mine for some of his toiletries!
Shampoo/Conditioner Bars - That pesky 3.4 oz TSA rule is a real downer. But with these two, I’m able to pack quality products in my carry on easily.
Gifts for Him
Now I can’t tell you from personal experience why these made the list. But I did ask my husband, who travels with me very often what his “must have” items are, and these specific underwear made the list. 😜
Quality Compression Socks - For those long International Flights
Versatile Shoes- He wore these when we traveled to Jordan and they worked great!
Garment Bag- He likes that this one has the ability to slip over your rollie suitcase.
Golf Pants - He loves traveling in pants like these ones. He’s able to travel comfortably without looking like a bum.
Noise Cancelling Headphones - I honestly kind of hate these because I always find myself talking to myself (because he can’t hear me 😂). But he loves them and takes them on every single trip.
Gifts for The Kids
Travel Journal - I love these! I’ll be adding them to my cart before our next family trip. It keeps the kids busy and excited about their trip, and having them write, draw, explain the trip through their eyes is such a fun keep-sake to look back on. There are lots of other ones on amazon for different ages, but I think these are great for that 4-9 age range.
Handwriting Pencils- Because everyone needs something to write and draw with! The shape on these help young writers properly hold their pencil too.
How To Draw 101 Things - For the aspiring artist in your fam
Sketch Book- Can’t forget a little sketch book to document what you’ve learned in the Drawing book above! I also find my kids drawing pictures of vacation, which is so fun to look back on too.
Hidden Pictures Coloring Book- My daughter loves two things… coloring, and I Spy books. This is a winner for me!
Twistable Crayons - We’ve used these for years and love them for “on the go.” You can twist them down to keep your backpack clean, and twist them up when you’re ready to use! Also prevents them from breaking!
iPad- To keep them entertained when the drawing doesn’t work anymore!
Travel Pillow Set - Kids love to feel like “adults.” Having their own sleep pillow, eye mask, and ear plugs not only helps them sleep on the plane, but makes them feel “big.” I love these fun animal sets, and my unicorn loving daughter is going to too!
Collapsible Water Bottle - I was gifted one of these a few years ago, and my kids recently discovered it and are begging for their own before our next trip.
